SystemScout is a comprehensive reference for publicly available design systems, built to bridge the gap between designers, developers, and product managers. The idea came from a recurring challenge: explaining what components and design systems are — and how to use them — to stakeholders who had little context. Rather than keep reaching for ad hoc explanations, I built SystemScout as a shared resource everyone could turn to. It lets designers and developers browse 34+ design systems, compare 38 component types across frameworks, explore live iframe previews, and study UX best practices — all in one place. Built with React, TypeScript, and Express, it features a composite patterns catalog, global search, dark mode, and detailed component anatomy guides.
